This last week I embarked on a search for a home in Congress Park for a client who wants to be near the Cherry Creek North shopping area. We also explored homes in Platt Park, Washington Park, Country Club and other neighborhoods nearby. Congress Park is nice for many reasons and at the end of the home tour my client decided that Congress Park was the place to be. She loved the 7th Avenue Parkway, the consistency in quality homes from block to block, and the botanic gardens nearby. So we are on a daily search for new listings in Congress Park so we can hopefully be ready when we find a ranch bungalow with at least 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a basement, yard and a one car garage. It would be great to find one that has no location flaws such as being next to commercial property, or apartments. It also needs to be quiet. My client wants to walk to the restaurants nearby and take a cab downtown every now and then. I always enjoy when my business allows me to get back into the city and explore these historic little gems.
