Hello there! On Tuesday there was an article on the Denver housing market in the Denver Post titled “Denver Housing Market Tightens.” The basic focus of the article is how buyers are having trouble finding what they want in Denver even though its supposed to be a “buyers market”. The quantity of homes on the market is down about 23% from last year, because 1) there are a lot less foreclosures on the market, and 2) sellers are waiting for the spring selling season or don’t think they can get the price they want.
So, what this means is that sellers may be able to sell their home quickly if they offer a fair price, and have reasonable updates and a good location. Sellers still have a few good months remaining in this year to successfully sell their home.
