My heart aches for the family of Scott Higgins. He left us way to soon; but with incredible memories that we will never forget. I’ve been to countless trails, ballgames, cub scout meetings, 14ers, dinners, campouts and ski mountains with Scott. He was as important to our son and his upbringing as anyone I can think of. I know that many of the families in Cherry Hills Village area feel the same way. He had an open door policy at his home and he always made us feel welcome. Our trips to Moe’s barbecue in the orange Camaro in between games of a double header to bowl and chow down will be missed.
