On July 28, 2020 Colorado Trout Unlimited organized 6 groups comprised of 8 volunteers and 2 team leaders to transport the Colorado state fish – The Greenback Cutthroat trout, deep into the wilderness. Each group hiked 6-9 stenuous miles with 50% of the hike off-trail. The destination was the East Fork of Roaring Creek in Poudre Canyon. This was a once in a lifetime opportunity to carry about a dozen fish to their new home. This video has rare footage of this rare species swimming under water
